2021 English Christian Song | “Do Not Rely on Imagination to Delimit God’s Appearance”

Verse 1

There are no constraints when God appears

to enable Him to complete His work as planned,

just as when God became flesh in Judea

and with His crucifixion, redeemed all of man.

Yet the Jews believed this was impossible,

God could not become flesh and assume Jesus’ form.

Their “impossible” then was the basis on which

they condemned God, thus leading to Israel’s downfall.

Their “impossible” again limits His appearance

to what they can imagine.
